Q: In which areas do you have expertise in the preparation of manuscripts?
We have experts in almost all medical and bioscience specialties, particularly molecular and cell biology.
Q: How qualified are your experts?
All our expert editors have extensive experience in reviewing, writing, and editing manuscripts. They have published in high impact factor, peer-reviewed journals, and are still actively involved in clinical research both as authors and expert reviewers. They understand what journal editors are looking for in new submissions, and what is needed when responding to reviewer comments. Please visit the “our experts” page to learn more.
Our editorial team is comprised of publications specialists that hold degrees in related subjects, and have over 25 years combined experience in the processing, reviewing, and production of biomedical publications.
Q: How do I communicate with the expert editors?
A dedicated publications specialist will be assigned to work with you throughout the entire publication process. The publications specialist will act as a liaison between you and our team of experts. Any questions you may have can be directed to the publications specialist and they will find the expert best suited to give you the answer. At any time you can email us at info@researchmedics.com, or visit the contact page on our website to leave a message.
Q: Is your service confidential?
Yes, your documents and personal information sent to Research Medics will be held in strict confidence, and their contents will not be revealed to anyone. We fully understand that the confidentiality of your ideas and results is essential.
Q: Can you guarantee my paper will be published?
While we can guarantee that you will receive the highest quality scientific and academic editing service, we cannot guarantee acceptance of your manuscript by a journal as there are many factors involved in editorial decision making. However, we will offer a re-edit of your paper, at no additional cost, if your paper is rejected due to issues with editing work.
Q: What sort of clients do you usually work with?
We work with a range of clients including physicians, researchers, students, and institutions (e.g. universities, scientific labs).
Q: What ethical guidelines and good publication practices do you follow?
We follow the guidelines and recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We will always strive to guide and educate our authors should any issues arise with their manuscript.
Q: Where is your company based?
Our physical address is in the United Kingdom. Our editorial team, medical, and bioscience writers are globally based.
